Aftercare
Redness: It’s common to feel like you have a sunburn for the first few days following your treatment. This should subside quickly but can last for five to seven- days. Use a cold compress to ease discomfort
Face/Body Wash: Use a mild cleanser, such as Cetaphil, for the first seven days after treatment on any areas where the treatment was applied. DO NOT use exfoliant scrubs or skin irritants (e.g., peroxides or astringents). Pat your skin and try to avoid rubbing your face or neck. Also, avoid showering or bathing with very hot water.
Hydration: Use hydrating, scent-free lotions, such as Aquaphor, on the treated areas of your skin for the next seven days to keep your skin moisturized and help the healing process. Avoid hyaluronic acids, retinol, and abrasive scrubs during this time.
Activities: Avoid strenuous exercise for the first two to three days after treatment and stay out of direct sun exposure in the first seven days, even if you’re wearing sunscreen.
